Refund Policy

Eligible for Refund or Correction

  • Duplicate charge or double billing for the same purchase, if verified
  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transaction, where required by applicable law and after reasonable verification
  • Billing error attributable to SidekickWriter (incorrect amount, wrong plan charged, continued charging after confirmed cancellation caused by our system)
  • Non delivery of the purchased service (paid access not activated within a reasonable time due to our fault and not resolved after support contact)
  • Material technical failure that prevents reasonable use of paid features and is not resolved within a reasonable time after you allow us to troubleshoot
  • Statutory consumer rights where a refund is required by law in your jurisdiction (these rights cannot be excluded)

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after purchase, except where required by applicable law
  • Any use of the Service after purchase that begins performance, including any of the following
    1. plan activation or upgrade activation
    2. allocation of AI credits or tokens to your account
    3. generation of content using paid features
    4. export, download, or sharing of generated content
  • Any consumed AI credits or tokens, whether partially or fully used
  • Subscription fees already paid for the current billing period, including cases where you forgot to cancel before renewal, except where required by applicable law
  • Dissatisfaction with outputs, style, or results (AI results vary), when the Service is functioning as described
  • Promotional, discounted, partner, beta, or trial offers marked as non refundable
  • Refund requests related to your device, internet connection, third party services, or user error outside our control
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms

Important Notes

SidekickWriter is available worldwide. Some jurisdictions give consumers mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights (for example the EU or UK). Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Where allowed by law, by completing a purchase you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you may lose any statutory withdrawal right once performance begins. Performance begins when your plan is activated, credits are allocated, paid features are unlocked, or paid features are used (including exporting or downloading content).

If we approve a request that is eligible, the remedy may be a correction, replacement credits, service time extension, or refund depending on what is required by law and the circumstances. Discretionary remedies do not create an ongoing obligation.
